Please read our guidelines before posting a review. Thank you.
Help us keep this a safe, honest, and respectful space.
We have created this platform so foster carers and new applicants can share their experiences and help others make informed decisions when choosing a fostering organisation. To make sure all reviews are helpful, fair, and respectful, we ask that you follow these simple guidelines:
1. Be Honest and Fair
Please share your genuine experience, whether positive, negative, or somewhere in between. Honest feedback helps others see a clearer picture of what it’s really like working with a particular fostering organisation.
2. Be Respectful and Kind
We encourage open, thoughtful reviews, but personal attacks or aggressive language would not be tolerated. Even if your experience was not ideal, please share your thoughts in a constructive and respectful way.
3. No Naming Individuals
To protect privacy and avoid potential harm, please do not name individual staff members, social workers, children, or others involved. Focus your review on the organisation as a whole.
4. Stay on Topic
Your review should reflect your experience with the fostering agency or local authority you worked with. Avoid unrelated details or off-topic content.
5. Keep It Safe and Confidential
Do not include any private, identifying, or sensitive information, especially about children or young people. Let’s work together to protect everyone’s privacy and safety.
6. One Review Per Organisation
Each reviewer may post one review per fostering organisation, based on their own personal experience. If your opinion changes over time, you are welcome to update your review.
7. We Moderate All Reviews
To keep this space safe and reliable, all reviews are reviewed before being published. We may edit or remove any content that doesn’t follow these guidelines.
8. Promotional or Misleading Content Won’t Be Accepted
Reviews must be based on real, personal experience. Any content that appears to promote or misrepresent a service will be removed.
Why These Guidelines Matter
We believe foster carers deserve to be heard, and future carers deserve honest guidance. Your review can support others, raise standards, and help shape the future of fostering in the UK.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Your voice truly matters.

July 17, 2026 at 2:32 pmI have fostered with Chrysalis Care for just over 12 years, during this time I have had 9 placements, some short, 6 weeks and some long, my current placement has been with me for almost 7 years. It’s a hard job to do but the support that is given and the training that is provided it outstanding and I want to encourage you to foster with Chrysalis Care and to make a positive difference in a child’s life,
