Foster Care Co-operative
The Foster Care Co-operative (FCC) was founded as a not-for-profit fostering organisation in 1999, and has grown considerably ever since. They now have offices in Worcestershire, Cardiff and Greater Manchester – and their reach extends to most of England and Wales. FCC are unique in the fostering sector as they are currently the only fostering organisation operating as a co-operative in the UK. This has enabled the agency to give its foster carers, children and staff a clear voice within the organisation. As a not-for-profit, surplus income is reinvested in order to provide more training and support for their carers.
